Who you are

You are a highly skilled and security-savvy Application Security Engineer with a strong background in leading security initiatives. With a deep understanding of secure coding practices and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks, you are eager to shape the security posture of AppsFlyer’s products. You have a 'security by design' mindset and are motivated to mentor developers on security best practices. Your experience includes conducting security assessments, including code reviews and penetration testing, ensuring that security is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

You stay up to date with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring that your team remains ahead of evolving risks. Your ability to automate security processes and integrate security tools within CI/CD pipelines demonstrates your commitment to enhancing security measures. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with development and product teams to embed security best practices into their workflows.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with development and product teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC. You will lead threat modeling and architecture security reviews to proactively identify and mitigate risks. Conducting security assessments, including code reviews, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing, will be key responsibilities. You will also support and contribute to security incident response activities, including root cause analysis and post-incident improvements. Your role will involve automating security processes and integrating security tools within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that security is a fundamental aspect of the development process.
