Overview

Reltio is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to enhance the security of their AI-powered data management solutions. You'll be responsible for implementing security measures and ensuring compliance across the platform. This role requires extensive experience in application security.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in application security, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise includes identifying vulnerabilities, conducting security assessments, and implementing security best practices. You are familiar with security frameworks and compliance standards, and you understand the importance of protecting sensitive data in cloud environments.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can think critically about security challenges. You are proactive in your approach to security, always looking for ways to improve processes and systems. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

You are passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and threats. You actively participate in security communities and continuously seek to enhance your knowledge and skills. You are a team player who values collaboration and is committed to fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.

Desirable

Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS or Azure, is a plus. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools will set you apart. You may also have experience with security automation and incident response, which will be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Application Security Engineer at Reltio, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our data management platform. You will conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. You will work closely with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a priority from the outset.

You will develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. You will also provide training and support to team members on security awareness and best practices, fostering a culture of security throughout the organization.

In addition, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to design secure architectures and implement security controls. You will monitor security incidents and respond to security breaches, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed.
