Overview
AQR Capital Management is hiring a Business Analyst to design and assemble data sets for portfolio and trading management. You'll collaborate with software engineers and perform quantitative analysis. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-6 years of relevant experience.

Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Finance, or a related field and possess 3-6 years of experience in a business analyst role. You are a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment, able to digest complex concepts into clear recommendations and actions. You enjoy solving intricate problems and are excited by the prospect of continuous improvement and learning. Your ability to confidently collaborate with various departments within the firm is a key asset.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and assemble source data sets for the systems and processes used in the control framework related to portfolio and trading management. You will create functional requirements, specifications, and designs for software solutions that are integral to these control processes. Performing quantitative analysis and calculating inputs into the control processes will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will partner with software engineers to develop software solutions and may also perform your own engineering to craft effective solutions. Additionally, you will coordinate data and system interrelationships with other teams, departments, and external parties, functioning as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions.
