AQR Capital Management is hiring an Investment Funds and Corporate Paralegal to support their Legal team with a range of legal tasks. You'll be involved in drafting corporate governance documentation and preparing Board meeting materials. This position requires relevant experience in legal support roles.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience as a paralegal, ideally in the investment funds or corporate law sectors, and possess a strong understanding of legal documentation and corporate governance. You are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Your ability to collaborate with various internal teams is essential, as you will be supporting the Legal team in diverse initiatives. You are committed to upholding the principles of transparency and integrity in all your work, reflecting AQR's values.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the Legal team with a broad range of legal tasks, including creating standard legal documentation for regulatory, state, and foreign filings using previously established templates. You will draft corporate governance documentation, such as Board and committee agendas, notices, resolutions, and minutes, ensuring that all materials are prepared and distributed in a timely manner. You will coordinate the preparation of Board meeting materials, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all necessary information is available for effective decision-making. Your contributions will help maintain the firm's commitment to rigorous testing and adherence to legal standards.
