What you'll do

In this role, you will lead security incident detection and response efforts, ensuring that incidents are analyzed and remediated effectively — your work will be crucial in maintaining the security posture of Asana. You will manage and mature the vulnerability management program, which includes overseeing scanning processes, assessing vulnerabilities, prioritizing risks, and tracking remediation efforts.

You will utilize and optimize security tools like Panther for SIEM and CrowdStrike for endpoint detection and response — your expertise will help enhance the effectiveness of these tools in protecting Asana's assets. Additionally, you will develop, implement, and maintain security playbooks and automation scripts to streamline security operations and reduce manual tasks.

Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure robust detection and response capabilities — you will be instrumental in scaling security practices across the organization. You will also champion a security-first mindset, promoting awareness and best practices among team members.
