You possess strong knowledge of AWS and its security features — you've worked extensively with cloud infrastructure and understand how to manage permissions and access controls effectively. Your experience enables you to create secure-by-default solutions that empower engineering teams to innovate without compromising security.

You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments — you enjoy partnering with product and infrastructure teams to architect solutions that address systemic risks. Your ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a key strength.

Desirable

Experience with vulnerability remediation tools and processes is a plus — you understand how to create tooling that helps teams efficiently address security risks. Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards will enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure Security team, you will design, build, and maintain secure frameworks and platforms that eliminate classes of vulnerabilities. Your role will involve engineering preventative controls at scale, focusing on creating solutions that integrate seamlessly into Asana's development processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve core security services, including access control frameworks and secrets management infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the security posture of Asana's products, ensuring that they are resilient against emerging threats.

You will develop and own the platform for vulnerability remediation, creating tooling that empowers engineering teams to address risks efficiently. Your contributions will help establish a culture of security within the organization, enabling teams to move quickly while maintaining a strong security posture.
