You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on cloud and application security — you've successfully implemented security measures in production environments and understand the complexities of securing AI infrastructures. Your expertise in frameworks like OWASP and tools such as Cloudflare allows you to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks effectively.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle — your ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders ensures that security is a shared responsibility across the organization. You are proactive in defining security roadmaps and implementing immediate hardening measures to enhance the security posture of the organization.

What you'll do

As the Senior Security Engineer at LangChain, you will be the hands-on security lead embedded with core product teams, responsible for securing agentic workloads from SDK through to customer integrations. You will define and drive the security roadmap, focusing on both immediate wins and long-term strategies to protect AI infrastructures in production. Your role will involve conducting security assessments, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to design secure architectures and provide guidance on security-related issues throughout the development process. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring security incidents, responding to threats, and continuously improving security protocols. You will play a key role in raising the bar on how AI infrastructure is protected, ensuring that millions of developers can trust LangChain's platform.
