What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Astranis, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines that enable our developers to deploy code quickly and efficiently. Your focus will be on optimizing these pipelines to ensure they are not only efficient but also capable of handling the unique demands of satellite operations. You will collaborate with software engineers to understand their needs and provide the tools and infrastructure necessary for rapid iteration and deployment.

You will also take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and cost-effective. This includes managing our AWS resources, configuring networking, and implementing best practices for security and compliance. You will work closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions that enhance system reliability and performance.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
