You are adept at creating and implementing systems that enhance productivity and accuracy in material handling. Desirable

Experience in the aerospace or satellite industry is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes. You have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, and you are comfortable using technology to streamline operations. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders is essential, as you will be coordinating with various departments to ensure that materials are available when needed.

What you'll do

As the Senior Team Lead of Materials Management at Astranis, you will play a critical role in the satellite development process. You will oversee the entire internal supply chain, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling. Your first priority will be to establish processes that ensure accurate receiving and tracking of thousands of components. You will lead a team of direct reports, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles. You will also be responsible for developing systems for urgent part deliveries, ensuring that production timelines are met without compromising quality. Collaboration with engineering and production teams will be key, as you work to align material availability with project schedules. You will analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Your leadership will help create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the materials management team.
