Who you are
You have a strong background in thermal engineering, with experience in designing and testing thermal solutions for complex systems. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you thrive in hands-on testing environments. You understand the intricacies of thermal control techniques and can navigate the challenges of balancing performance, cost, and schedule in your designs. While experience with spacecraft or printed circuit board thermal mitigation is a plus, your ability to identify feasible thermal architectures is what sets you apart.
What you'll do
As a Senior Thermal Engineer at Astranis, you will take charge of designing, evaluating, and testing thermal solutions that range from electronic chips to full spacecraft thermal vacuum tests. You will be responsible for maturing designs through various phases, including conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design. Your role will involve performing thermal analysis and making design trades that successfully balance performance margins, resource use, risk, cost, and schedule. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure that the thermal solutions meet the stringent requirements of our sophisticated customers, including large enterprises and government entities.
