You have extensive experience in strategic finance, ideally with a background in venture capital or startup environments — you've successfully navigated the complexities of financial management across multiple companies and understand the unique challenges faced by early-stage businesses. Your leadership skills are exceptional, and you thrive in collaborative settings where you can mentor and guide teams to achieve their financial goals.
You possess a strong analytical mindset, enabling you to build and supervise financial models that drive decision-making — your ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights is a key strength. You are comfortable with regular travel and enjoy engaging with teams across different locations to foster collaboration and support.
What you'll do
As the Vice President of Strategic Finance at Atomic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our portfolio companies — you will act as their finance team during the early stages, helping them establish robust financial practices and transition workflows as they grow. Your responsibilities will include monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with partners to implement strategic actions.
You will also be involved in the creation of new companies, working closely with the 0:1 team to identify focus areas and business models — your insights will help shape investment decisions and define success criteria for new ventures. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the trajectory of multiple transformative businesses, making strategic decisions that have a lasting impact.
