You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in designing and scaling high-availability systems. Your expertise includes working with microservices and event-driven architectures, and you understand the complexities of integrating with financial institutions and payment processors. You are proficient in Rust and have experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with product, data, and mobile teams to deliver reliable features that meet user demands.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and a keen understanding of secure and compliant transaction processing. Your experience includes designing APIs that ensure reliability and privacy at scale, and you are comfortable navigating the challenges of a rapidly growing user base. You are passionate about building inclusive, data-powered financial products that improve users' day-to-day lives.

What you'll do

As a Staff Backend Engineer at Attain, you will be responsible for designing and scaling backend services that power Klover's payments and data infrastructure. You will work on systems that process over $1.5 billion annually, ensuring that users have real-time access to their earned wages and financial tools. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance features that enhance user experience.

You will design and implement microservices that connect financial institutions and payment processors, focusing on reliability and security. Your work will directly impact users' ability to access their money instantly and earn meaningful rewards. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team.
