Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience, along with at least 3 years of work experience in managing revenue recognition and service project accounting. You possess a high level of integrity, accuracy, and dependability, and you are enthusiastic about your work while maintaining confidentiality. Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to adjust priorities frequently and support your team wherever needed. You have strong English written and verbal communication skills, and your attention to detail is exceptional. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential, and experience with NetSuite or ERP systems is a plus. Familiarity with the software industry and a background in Big 4 public accounting are preferred, and holding a CPA (ACCA or USCPA) is advantageous.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist with new US GAAP/IFRS adoption projects, focusing on ASC 606/IFRS 15 revenue recognition and ASC 340/IFRS 15 deferred costs. You will review transaction data to analyze, allocate, and calculate revenue for multi-element sales contracts, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition. Collaboration with Sales Operations will be key as you assist with SSP allocation reconciliation and annual SSP testing. You will also work closely with project managers on service project tracking, conduct Service Hindsight analysis, and calculate Provisions for Loss. Your responsibilities will include assisting with revenue versus billing analysis, Contract Combination, and Contract Modification SOX reporting, as well as supporting audit-related tasks and other ad hoc revenue-related tasks.
