Overview

AvePoint is hiring a Junior Business Analyst to support requirement elicitation and analysis, assist in client discussions, and contribute to solution development. This role is based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Who you are

You are a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, you may have a degree in English or Chinese, with exceptional spoken proficiency being a plus. You are eager to learn and grow in the field of business analysis, and you possess strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.

You have a keen interest in understanding core business needs and operational pain points. Your ability to collaborate with project development teams will help you create preliminary solutions that meet client specifications. You are detail-oriented and capable of documenting processes clearly and comprehensively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist in conducting requirement surveys based on project and client specifications. You will support client discussions to understand their core business needs and contribute to analyzing and documenting current operational pain points. Your collaboration with project development teams will be crucial in creating preliminary solutions, utilizing tools such as mock-ups and design diagrams to illustrate proposed solutions.

You will participate in project development activities, liaising with design teams for product interface design and assisting in articulating project logic to development engineers and system architects. Additionally, you will support test engineers in executing system tests according to requirement documents and co-author use cases, user guides, and other project-related documentation.

Your role will also involve assisting clients in conducting user acceptance tests and facilitating smooth transition processes for new and existing systems post-implementation. You will contribute to conducting user training sessions as necessary, ensuring that clients are well-equipped to utilize the systems effectively.
