You possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and you are proficient in Python or Java/Kotlin, with a strong willingness to upskill in Python. You have a solid foundation in data management and governance, and your analytical and problem-solving skills are top-notch. You thrive in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues across various departments.

Your familiarity with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or Solr sets you apart, as you understand the importance of data ingestion and observability in modern data management. You are a good team player who values collaboration and is eager to contribute to a culture of agility and passion at AvePoint.

Desirable

While not mandatory, having a good foundation in SQL, ELT, ETL, and data pipelines will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. Your experience with data migrations and system integrations will be beneficial as you support the transition from legacy systems to the new Data Toolkit.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the Data Movement project by building, integrating, and testing a Data Toolkit that standardizes data ingestion efforts across the organization. You will execute and support system and data migrations from legacy systems, ensuring a smooth transition to the new toolkit. Your contributions will help align data observability practices and improve overall data governance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you troubleshoot issues and optimize data workflows. You will also participate in team meetings, sharing insights and updates on project progress while fostering a collaborative environment.
