You have experience designing and building data pipelines — you've worked with modern batch or streaming data ecosystems and understand the intricacies involved in data governance. Your expertise in SQL is complemented by your proficiency in either Java or Python, allowing you to tackle complex data challenges effectively.

What you'll do

As a Data Engineer at DRW, you will play an integral role in bringing vendor datasets into our data platform — your work will support rapid data product development and enhance the firm's ability to utilize data effectively. You will collaborate closely with individual Traders, Quantitative Researchers, and Back-Office personnel to ensure that the data and platform tools meet their needs.

You will be responsible for governing our centralized data pipelines — this includes overseeing the flow of data from various sources and ensuring that it is processed accurately and efficiently. Your role will also involve implementing data quality control measures to maintain the integrity of our datasets.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will be expected to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization — your ability to translate complex data concepts into understandable terms will be crucial in fostering collaboration and driving data initiatives forward.
