Your familiarity with SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL allows you to effectively manage data and resolve issues as they arise. You are also knowledgeable about ETL processes and data coexistence technology, which enhances your ability to work with legacy systems. Your understanding of database auditing and security measures ensures that you can maintain the integrity of data management practices. You are proactive in providing production support and are willing to assist with after-office-hours issues when necessary.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing the database architecture and modeling strategies that ensure security, scalability, and reliable performance. You will collaborate closely with the application development team to define the application data model, optimizing database operations to enhance overall system efficiency. As the point of contact for principal vendors regarding software and hardware, you will manage relationships and ensure that all database-related tools are functioning optimally. You will provide production support, addressing and resolving database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. Your role will also involve assisting with the implementation of database auditing and security measures, ensuring compliance with data protection laws. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of database systems and processes, leveraging your expertise to enhance data management capabilities across the organization.
