Who you are

You have a strong background in quality assurance, with experience in functional and regression testing for critical systems. Your attention to detail ensures that you derive well-structured test cases from requirements and maintain traceability throughout the testing process. You are proactive in collaborating with project teams and users to clarify test objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on quality standards.

You are familiar with automation testing concepts and have experience designing and developing modular, reusable automated test cases using enterprise tools such as Selenium and Playwright. Your knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools enhances your ability to contribute to the overall quality of the software. You are also comfortable using version control systems like Git and have experience working in Agile methodologies, which allows you to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.

What you'll do

As a Test Automation Engineer at AvePoint, you will be responsible for designing and executing functional, system, and regression tests aligned with governance and quality standards. You will prepare and manage test data, address environment constraints, and capture detailed evidence for compliance. Logging, triaging, and verifying defects will be part of your daily tasks, as you analyze outcomes and collaborate with teams for resolution.

You will communicate test results and key quality metrics clearly and effectively to all project stakeholders, producing thorough documentation such as test designs and summary reports using standard templates and best practices. Over time, you will transition to building and scaling automated testing capabilities, contributing to reusable regression test suites for future automation readiness. Your role will also involve collaborating with project teams to ensure that the testing process aligns with the overall project goals and timelines.
