Overview
Away is hiring a Quality Inspector to perform product inspections and testing at factories in Cambodia. You'll ensure compliance with quality standards and communicate with the Quality team to drive continuous improvement.
Job Description
Who you are
You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in product inspections. You have a strong understanding of quality control processes and are able to identify defects in materials and finished goods. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable communicating with teams across different locations.
What you'll do
As a Quality Inspector, you will conduct inspections on incoming materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products at supplier factories. You will assist factory personnel in inspecting materials from subcontractors and promptly report any critical defects to the Quality Supervisor. Your role will involve executing the Final Quality Control process, including random sampling among finished cartons based on AQL standard sampling plans. You will also be responsible for recording inspection data and summarizing instances of non-conforming products according to standard operating procedures.
