Site Reliability Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with a focus on cloud native services — your experience includes building and maintaining robust systems that ensure high availability and reliability. You are proficient in AWS and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your expertise in Linux systems allows you to troubleshoot and optimize performance effectively.

You are skilled in programming, particularly with Python, which you use to automate processes and enhance system reliability. Your understanding of monitoring and alerting tools enables you to proactively address issues before they impact users. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer demands.

What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to the SRE organization by developing solutions for real-time problems encountered by cloud native services. You will collaborate with product teams to ensure continuous delivery of features while maintaining system reliability. Your responsibilities will include building foundational platforms and tools that empower engineering teams, as well as implementing best practices for incident management and response.

You will engage in capacity planning and performance tuning, ensuring that systems can handle varying loads efficiently. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge of SRE practices across the organization. You will participate in on-call rotations, responding to incidents and driving post-mortem analyses to improve system resilience.
