What you'll do

As a Product Engineer at Basis, you will take full ownership of your projects from conception to execution. You will define the problems that need solving, devise solutions, and build the necessary features to enhance the product experience. You will work closely with Accounting Subject Matter Experts, Designers, Product Managers, and Researchers to ensure that the product meets user needs effectively. Your role will involve iterating on product features based on user feedback, ensuring that the solutions you develop are both functional and user-friendly. You will be responsible for measuring the success of your projects, using data to inform your decisions and guide future iterations. You will participate in team discussions to brainstorm new ideas and approaches, contributing to a culture of innovation and collaboration. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your work will directly impact how AI is integrated into accounting practices, making complex workflows simpler and more efficient.
