You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to bring innovative solutions to life. You are proactive in seeking feedback and iterating on designs based on user testing and research. You have a passion for science and technology, and you are excited about the opportunity to contribute to the biotech revolution.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the design process for Benchling's small molecule solution, from initial concept through to final implementation. You will work closely with product management to define the product strategy and prioritize features that will enhance the user experience for scientists. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your ideas and solutions. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate your designs, ensuring that they meet the needs of the end-users. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure that your designs are feasible and implemented accurately, providing guidance throughout the development process. You will also participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the design team.
