Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered designs that solve real problems. You are proficient in Figma and have experience in prototyping at varying levels of fidelity, from low-fidelity wireframes to pixel-perfect prototypes. You understand the needs of users and can translate insights into innovative features that enhance user experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and product managers to refine designs and bring them to life. You are detail-oriented and have a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring that your designs are not only functional but also visually appealing. You are passionate about shaping the future of fabrication and are excited to contribute to products that empower customers.
Desirable
Experience in 3D printing or related technologies would be a plus, as well as familiarity with user research methodologies and A/B testing. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality designs.
What you'll do
As a Senior Product Designer at Formlabs, you will be responsible for shaping the design and development of user interfaces across our embedded, desktop, and web products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to drive features from concept to public release. Your role will involve deeply understanding the needs of Formlabs customers and translating their insights into innovative features that enhance their experience with our products. You will prototype at varying levels of fidelity, ensuring that your designs are user-friendly and meet the needs of our diverse customer base. You will also participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the design team. Your work will have a tangible impact on our customers and their creations, helping them design, prototype, and manufacture faster than ever before.
What we offer
At Formlabs, we offer a competitive salary range of $110,000—$160,000 USD, along with equity in the form of RSUs.
