Job Description
Who you are
You are a Product Designer with a strong background in creating user-centered design solutions. You have experience working independently on projects of medium scope and complexity, and you are passionate about simplifying complex scientific concepts to improve research outcomes. Your proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma, allows you to rapidly prototype and validate design concepts, ensuring that your solutions are both innovative and effective.
You thrive in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver cohesive and impactful product features. Your ability to communicate design ideas clearly and effectively helps you to advocate for user needs while balancing technical constraints. You are comfortable with AI-powered tools and understand how to leverage them to enhance the design process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be accountable for the discovery and design execution of product features within your team. You will lead design initiatives, from initial concept through to final implementation, ensuring that your designs meet user needs and align with business goals. You will contribute to the development of the design system, helping to create a consistent and scalable design language across products.
You will engage in user research and testing to gather insights that inform your design decisions, iterating on your work based on feedback and data. Your role will also involve collaborating with the Product Design Director to align on design strategies and operational plans, ensuring that your work contributes to the overall vision of the company.
