Job Description

Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally working on complex or enterprise-level software. Your background includes a design degree in Visual Communication Design, UX, Fine Arts, Interaction Design, or a related field, along with relevant experience. You are familiar with UX research methodologies and can collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback effectively. Your proven experience spans all phases of the design process, including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing. You possess an excellent eye for visual design and are capable of guiding fellow designers in their work. Collaboration is second nature to you, as you thrive in cross-functional team environments, working closely with product managers and engineers to bring designs to life.

You are not satisfied with the status quo and constantly seek ways to improve the design quality at Educative. Your creative problem-solving skills enable you to tackle challenges head-on, and your excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills allow you to articulate your design vision and rationale clearly to any audience, from fellow designers to senior leadership.

What you'll do

In your role as a Product Designer, you will advocate for the customer experience (CX) by obsessing over customer pain points and striving to make the CX more useful, enjoyable, and accessible. You will collaborate with product managers to gather customer feedback and align on the product roadmap, ensuring that your designs are informed by real user needs. Your responsibilities will include setting design requirements based on insights from internal teams and user research, creating concepts and wireframes, and delivering high-quality designs and prototypes through testing, experimentation, and development. You will present and defend your product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, ensuring that your vision is understood and embraced.

You will follow an existing design system while having the latitude to push it further, constantly bringing new and impactful ideas to the table. Your role will involve improving the design quality at Educative, and you will be expected to stay updated on design trends and best practices to enhance your contributions.

What we offer

At Educative, we offer a collaborative and innovative work environment where your contributions will directly impact the customer experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about design and technology. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Join us in shaping the future of learning through exceptional design.
