Who you are

You have a strong background in product management, particularly in API ecosystems, with a focus on enhancing Developer Experience (DX). You understand the importance of aligning product vision with market trends and have experience in defining long-term roadmaps that incorporate microservices and event-driven architecture. Your strategic mindset allows you to future-proof APIs, ensuring they are ready for advancements in AI and automated systems.

You are adept at conducting market analysis, keeping abreast of emerging trends such as GraphQL and API Gateways, and you can articulate the business value and ROI of API initiatives to leadership. Your collaborative nature enables you to partner effectively with other product managers to ensure cohesive product development and synergy across teams.

Desirable

Experience with semantic labeling and machine-to-machine optimizations is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest trends in API technology. You thrive in environments that prioritize social impact and are committed to creating a culture of belonging.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the vision and strategy for the Benevity API Ecosystem, focusing on the API as the core product. You will define the long-term roadmap, ensuring it aligns with microservices and event-driven architecture. Your responsibilities will include optimizing APIs for an agentic future by incorporating semantic labeling and machine-to-machine optimizations. You will conduct market analysis to research emerging trends like GraphQL and API Gateways, ensuring that Benevity's platform remains competitive and best-in-class.

You will work closely with internal teams to drive adoption of the API Factory, enhancing the overall Developer Experience. Your role will involve articulating the business value and ROI of major API initiatives to executive leadership, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. You will also partner with other product managers to ensure that API development is integrated with broader product strategies.
