Who you are

You are a skilled Research Scientist/Engineer with a strong background in large language models and natural language processing. You have experience in enhancing model performance across the entire development lifecycle, including data acquisition, supervised fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning. Your expertise in synthesizing large-scale, high-quality datasets through rewriting, augmentation, and generation techniques sets you apart in the field.

You possess a deep understanding of advanced decoding strategies such as Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) and A*, which you apply to solve complex tasks using System 2 thinking. Your ability to design and implement robust evaluation methodologies allows you to effectively assess model performance and drive innovations in reasoning and decision-making.

What you'll do

In this role, you will advance the reasoning and planning capabilities of large foundation models by enhancing their performance through various stages of development. You will be responsible for synthesizing high-quality datasets that strengthen foundation models during pretraining, supervised fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning stages. Your work will involve applying advanced decoding strategies to tackle sophisticated real-world problems.

You will also teach models to interact with external tools, APIs, and code interpreters, building agents and multi-agent systems capable of addressing complex tasks. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive innovations that improve the overall performance and capabilities of the models you work with.
