Who you are

You are a highly skilled Research Scientist with a strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence. You have experience in enhancing the reasoning and planning capabilities of large foundation models, and you are adept at applying advanced techniques such as reinforcement learning and supervised fine-tuning. Your expertise in synthesizing large-scale, high-quality datasets through rewriting, augmentation, and generation techniques sets you apart in the field.

You possess a deep understanding of the entire development lifecycle of machine learning models, from data acquisition to model evaluation. Your ability to solve complex tasks using System 2 thinking demonstrates your analytical skills and your capacity for advanced problem-solving. You are familiar with advanced decoding strategies like MCTS and A*, which you apply to enhance model performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for advancing the reasoning and planning capabilities of large foundation models at Binance. You will enhance model performance across the entire development lifecycle, including data acquisition, supervised fine-tuning, reward modeling, and reinforcement learning. A key part of your responsibilities will involve synthesizing large-scale datasets to strengthen foundation models during pretraining, supervised fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning stages.

You will design and implement robust evaluation methodologies to assess model performance and drive innovations in reasoning and decision-making. Additionally, you will teach models to interact with external tools, APIs, and code interpreters, building agents and multi-agent systems capable of addressing sophisticated real-world problems. Your work will contribute significantly to Binance's mission of building an inclusive financial ecosystem through advanced blockchain technology.
