What you'll do

As a Backend Engineer at BitGo, you will be responsible for designing and building robust APIs and services that empower our API-first platform. You will own the functionality and scalability features of the systems you develop, taking responsibility from inception to deployment and customer integration. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance the user experience for our institutional clients and individual users.

You will write clean, maintainable code and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identifying and correcting bottlenecks will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will fixing bugs that may arise during development and after deployment. You will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies that can improve our systems and processes, contributing to the overall success of BitGo in the digital asset space.

What we offer

At BitGo, we offer a competitive compensation package, with salaries averaging between $160,000 - $210,000 CAD depending on your level and location.
