You have at least 5+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering, with a strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Go. You are comfortable working towards goals and have a data-driven mindset that helps you understand user behavior and product performance. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy designing experiments that enhance user engagement and product adoption.
Your experience includes modern frontend development tools, and you have a solid understanding of user funnels and conversion rates. You are proactive in investigating user churn and pain points, and you work diligently to address these issues. You are a team player who values communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Desirable
Bonus points if you have experience with A/B testing or similar methodologies, as well as familiarity with analytics tools that help drive product decisions. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your work and the team's performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive understanding of our core user flows and design experiments aimed at increasing product adoption and improving conversion rates from hobbyist to professional users. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement and report on these experiments, ensuring that they align with our overall business objectives.
You will investigate the causes of user churn and work on strategies to address them, contributing to a better user experience and higher retention rates. Your insights will help shape the direction of our product development and marketing strategies, making a significant impact on our growth trajectory.
