You have a strong background in distributed systems and have successfully built and led platform teams in the past. With 5+ years of experience in engineering management, you understand the intricacies of blockchain technology and its applications in the financial sector. You are adept at fostering collaborative team dynamics and driving innovative problem-solving approaches.
Your technical expertise includes a deep understanding of blockchain infrastructure, and you are passionate about empowering customers to navigate the digital asset space securely. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to mentoring and developing your team members.
What you'll do
As the Engineering Manager for the Staking team, you will lead a group responsible for building the core services and APIs that enable secure and reliable staking for institutional and retail partners. You will oversee the development process, ensuring that the team adheres to best practices in software engineering and delivers high-quality solutions. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to align on project goals and timelines.
You will be responsible for driving the technical direction of the team, making architectural decisions, and ensuring that the infrastructure is scalable and performant. Additionally, you will conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, support their career development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in recruiting top talent to join the team, ensuring that BitGo continues to build a high-performing engineering organization.
What we offer
BitGo offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $220,000 to $290,000 CAD, equity, and an annual performance bonus.
