You are an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in data engineering and a passion for transforming the financial services industry. You have a proven track record of managing teams and driving the evolution of data platforms, ensuring data accessibility for both internal teams and external stakeholders. Your expertise in processing and delivering financial datasets is complemented by your ability to foster collaborative team dynamics and innovative problem-solving.
You understand the importance of reliability, accuracy, and reconciliation in data management. You have experience in designing, constructing, and overseeing data solution deployments, capturing and managing structured and unstructured data from diverse sources. You thrive in environments where you can collaborate intensely with engineers, analysts, data scientists, and product teams to drive impactful results.
What you'll do
In this role, you will spearhead and scale BitGo's data engineering teams, focusing on enhancing the data platform to support the company's mission as a leading infrastructure provider of digital asset solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of data solutions that meet the highest standards of reliability and accuracy. Your leadership will guide the team in capturing, managing, and leveraging data effectively, ensuring that both internal teams and external stakeholders have access to the information they need.
You will collaborate closely with various teams to drive the evolution of the data platform, enhancing data accessibility and usability. Your role will involve mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in strategic decision-making, ensuring that the data engineering efforts align with the broader goals of the organization.
What we offer
BitGo offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $230,000 to $280,000 CAD, along with equity and an annual performance bonus.
