Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building scalable data platforms. You understand the intricacies of data ingestion, processing, and storage, and have a proven track record of implementing data solutions that meet business needs. Your expertise in AWS and Docker allows you to create robust and secure data infrastructures that support real-time analytics and batch processing.
You are proficient in Python and have experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and enjoy mentoring junior engineers. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex data challenges effectively, and you are committed to maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance.
What you'll do
As a Senior Data Platform Engineer at Bitvavo, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a self-service Data Platform that empowers teams to create data products efficiently. You will continuously evolve the platform to accommodate new data use cases, including real-time analytics and machine learning applications. Your role will involve designing and implementing secure, scalable data infrastructures using best practices in automation and Infrastructure as Code.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that enhance engineering productivity.
