What you'll do

As a Data Scientist at Block, you will play a pivotal role in the Advanced Insights and Modeling (AIM) team, where you will develop and scale AI-driven predictive metrics that inform strategic investment decisions. You will collaborate with machine learning engineers and data engineers to create models that analyze revenue inflow and outflow, active customer counts, customer lifetime value, and sales prospect value. Your work will directly impact operational excellence across the company, providing insights that drive business strategy. You will be responsible for full-stack model ownership, from conception through deployment, ensuring that your models are scalable and deliver high value. You will engage in rapid execution, maintaining high standards while adapting to the fast-paced nature of the business. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
