What you'll do

As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Braze, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security of our cloud infrastructure. You will partner with cross-functional teams to assess and improve our cloud security posture, ensuring that our platforms are secure and compliant with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting security assessments, implementing security controls, and responding to security incidents.

You will lead initiatives to automate security processes and integrate security into the DevOps pipeline, promoting a culture of security-first thinking. Collaborating closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure teams, you will help design and implement security architectures that align with our cloud-native strategy. Your insights will drive the development of security policies and procedures that protect our systems and data from emerging threats.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering their growth in cloud security practices. You will stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies, continuously seeking ways to enhance our security posture and mitigate risks.
