Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on designing and implementing cloud-native platforms. Your expertise in cloud security best practices ensures that systems are robust and secure against evolving threats. You are proficient in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) methodologies, particularly with tools like Terraform, and you understand how to optimize distributed systems for high availability and fault tolerance.

Your technical skills include a deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. You are comfortable working with various cloud service providers, especially AWS, and have experience in building and managing scalable microservices architectures. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working closely with frontend and platform teams to ensure seamless integration between microservices, APIs, and microfrontends.

You are a problem solver who thrives in complex environments and can adapt quickly to new challenges. Your communication skills allow you to articulate architectural standards and design decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in cloud technology and security.

Desirable

Experience with additional cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) would be a plus. Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to cloud environments is also desirable. You may have experience in mentoring junior engineers or leading small teams, contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

What you'll do

As a Senior Cloud Platform Architect at Bugcrowd, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-native platforms that support our industry-leading crowdsourced security solutions. You will define architectural standards and lead design efforts to ensure that our systems are scalable, secure, and efficient. Your role will involve collaborating closely with frontend and platform teams to integrate microservices and APIs seamlessly, ensuring that our applications perform optimally under varying loads.

You will take the lead in optimizing our cloud infrastructure, focusing on high availability and fault tolerance. This includes implementing best practices for cloud security and ensuring that our systems are resilient against potential threats. You will also be responsible for defining and maintaining infrastructure-as-code practices, using tools like Terraform to automate deployments and manage cloud resources effectively.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in shaping the cloud strategy for Bugcrowd. This includes evaluating new technologies and tools that can enhance our platform's capabilities and improve our operational efficiency.
