Who you are
You are an experienced design leader with a strong background in visual design and people management. You excel in strategic thinking and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality design projects. Your expertise includes applying and evolving design guidelines to ensure consistency across various touchpoints. You have a hands-on approach and are comfortable leading a team of visual designers while also contributing to the design work yourself.
You have experience in managing diverse design projects, including marketing campaign assets, data visualization, print, and UI design. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to influence the user interface of digital experiences. Your ability to drive cross-department collaboration is a key strength, allowing you to engage in stretch projects that extend beyond traditional brand design.
What you'll do
As the Design Manager at Canonical, you will lead the Visual Design practice, ensuring that all design outputs align with the company's brand and strategic goals.
