Who you are

You are an accomplished Embedded Linux engineer with a deep understanding of the Linux operating system — you know the plumbing of the OS inside and out, and you are proficient with distribution packaging and system debugging. Your experience in the field has equipped you with the skills to bring customer ideas to life, especially in mission-critical industries like Automotive and IoT.

You have a passion for open source software and a desire to work in a collaborative environment — your ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin is a key asset, allowing you to engage with diverse teams and clients across the APAC region. You thrive in a remote work setting and are comfortable with global collaboration, meeting in person occasionally to align on strategy and execution.

What you'll do

As an Embedded Linux Field Engineer at Canonical, you will be responsible for expanding our reach in various industries, including Automotive, Medical Devices, and Robotics. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions using Ubuntu and other open source technologies. Your role will involve system design, debugging, and ensuring the security and resilience of our IoT solutions.
