You have a strong background in engineering management with a focus on operational systems and open source technologies. You are an outstanding developer who is comfortable reviewing patches and software design specifications. Your experience includes leading engineering teams and driving healthy engineering practices, documentation, quality, and performance optimizations.
You are passionate about cutting-edge hardware and have experience working with various architectures such as x86, ARM, RISC-V, s390x, and POWER systems. You understand the importance of collaboration and are skilled at fostering a diverse and inclusive team environment. What you'll do
As an Engineering Manager at Canonical, you will lead a team of engineers to enable and optimize Ubuntu for the latest silicon platforms. You will be responsible for integrating next-generation features and performance enhancements while ensuring a consistent operating experience for users. You will drive the team to deliver high-quality design and code, and you will be involved in line management and career development for your team members.
