You will lead intelligence gathering and development activities focused on threat actors targeting software supply chains, studying attack trends across the open source software landscape.

You will report your findings to internal security teams and advise the engineering community on the best practices for detecting and mitigating potential threats. Your work will directly contribute to securing Canonical’s software infrastructure, which is critical given the widespread use of Ubuntu products.

You will also develop OSINT research environments and tradecraft, principles, and techniques that will enhance Canonical’s threat intelligence capabilities. Your role will involve collaborating across teams to ensure that Canonical is recognized as a leader in open source threat intelligence.
