Overview

Careem is hiring a Supply Operations Manager to develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure product availability. This role is based in Karachi and offers a hybrid work model.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in supply chain management and operations, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers. You understand the importance of inventory management and have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability. You are a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the challenges of a startup culture.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with stakeholders across different departments. Your analytical mindset helps you make data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure that products and stock levels are always available and delivered on time. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including demand planning, commercial, and supply chain teams, to ensure the right inventory levels and availability. Your efforts will directly impact the success of Careem Grocery as it aims to reinvent the way people shop for grocery, pharmacy, and retail products.

You will also be involved in streamlining operations and enhancing customer experience by applying innovative solutions. As part of a startup within a startup, you will face exciting challenges that require creative problem-solving and a proactive approach. Your contributions will help Careem achieve its ambitious growth goals in this burgeoning space.
