Who you are
You have a strong background in site reliability engineering with a focus on observability and automation — you've developed and maintained monitoring ecosystems that provide deep insights into system events and ensure robust alerting mechanisms. Your experience includes working with both in-house tools and enterprise solutions to meet scalability and reliability requirements.
You are passionate about improving system performance and reliability — you understand the importance of observability in modern infrastructure and have a track record of implementing effective monitoring strategies. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in system visibility.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Careem's distributed monitoring ecosystem — you'll integrate enterprise solutions to meet challenging functional and scalability requirements. Your work will enable all projects across Careem to improve visibility and gain insights into system events, ensuring that teams can define robust alerts for incident notifications.
You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve reliability issues — your expertise will help streamline operations and enhance the overall customer experience. You will also be involved in automating workflows and building tools that facilitate better observability across the platform.
What we offer
