Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on data governance and quality. Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to build robust data pipelines and ensure data integrity across systems. You are familiar with AWS services and have experience deploying data governance tools to enhance data management practices. Your understanding of data stewardship policies and role-based access controls enables you to enforce data governance effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive data initiatives that support business objectives. You are passionate about leveraging data to inform decision-making and improve processes.
Desirable
Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows is a plus. Familiarity with PostgreSQL and other database technologies will help you manage and optimize data storage solutions. Knowledge of data cataloging and lineage tools will enhance your ability to integrate metadata management platforms into the governance framework. You are proactive in identifying data quality issues and implementing automated validation workflows to maintain high standards of data accuracy.
