You have at least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. You are skilled in performing light bodywork tasks such as prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles, and you have a keen eye for detail that ensures high-quality repairs. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when needed to meet business demands.
You understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and equipment in your work and are excited about the opportunity to work in a high-tech Inspection Center. You are open to learning and growing within the company, especially if you are starting in an entry-level position where training programs are available to enhance your skills and pay.
What you'll do
As an Auto Body Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing various light bodywork tasks, including prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles to prepare them for sale. You will also be involved in removing and installing bumpers, conducting minor plastic welding, and performing small area bodywork, including Bondo repairs. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that each vehicle meets Carvana's high standards before it reaches the customer.
You will work closely with a team of skilled technicians and will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the field. Your role will require you to be adaptable and ready to take on new challenges as they arise, especially during busy periods when mandatory overtime may be necessary to meet customer demands.
