Overview
Carvana is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to perform inspections and maintenance on vehicles. You'll be responsible for quality checks and light repairs in a high-tech environment. This role requires a minimum of 6 months of automotive repair experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You have at least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. You possess a valid driverβs license and can communicate effectively in English. You are ready to work in a high-tech Inspection Center and are open to learning and growing your skills as you progress in your career.
Desirable
Experience with state inspections or certifications is a plus, but not required. A passion for automotive technology and a desire to work with state-of-the-art tools will help you thrive in this role.
What you'll do
As a State Inspector at Carvana, you will conduct quality inspections on vehicles to identify any imperfections or necessary repairs. Your responsibilities will include performing light maintenance and fluid checks to ensure that our vehicles meet high standards before they reach customers. You will work closely with a team of technicians to maintain the quality and reliability of our inventory.
You will be expected to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you assess vehicles and document any findings. You will also participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive repair and inspection processes.
What we offer
Carvana provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $30 to $35, depending on your experience, along with a $5,000 bonus for joining the team.
