You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your expertise in the field. Your background includes extensive repairs and heavy engine work, showcasing your ability to handle complex automotive issues. You are skilled in advanced vehicle diagnostics, allowing you to identify and resolve problems efficiently. Your experience includes repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, which is crucial for modern vehicles. You are familiar with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, ensuring that you can tackle a wide range of automotive tasks. You are comfortable working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, reflecting your adaptability in the evolving automotive landscape.
What you'll do
As a Lead Auto Mechanic at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work on a variety of vehicles. You will conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Your role will involve repairing advanced vehicle electrical systems, ensuring that all components function correctly. You will also be tasked with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, which are essential for maintaining vehicle performance. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to deliver high-quality service. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
