Who you are
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your expertise in performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work. Your background includes advanced vehicle diagnostics, allowing you to tackle complex automotive issues with confidence. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical systems and have experience with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems. Your knowledge extends to working on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles, showcasing your versatility in the automotive field.
You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands is crucial, especially when mandatory overtime is required to meet customer commitments. You possess a valid driverβs license and can communicate effectively in English, ensuring smooth interactions with colleagues and customers alike.
Desirable
While not required, having ASE certification would be a plus, as it demonstrates your commitment to professional development and adherence to industry standards. Familiarity with state-of-the-art tools and technology in automotive repair is also advantageous, as it aligns with Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers.
What you'll do
As a Senior Automotive Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and heavy engine work on a variety of vehicles. Your role will involve advanced vehicle diagnostics, where you will identify and resolve complex issues efficiently. You will also handle advanced vehicle electrical repairs, ensuring that all systems function optimally. Additionally, you will be tasked with installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, contributing to the overall performance and safety of the vehicles.
You will work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to deliver quality service. Your commitment to excellence will be reflected in the thoroughness of your diagnostics and repairs, ensuring that every vehicle meets Carvana's high standards before it reaches customers. You will collaborate closely with other technicians and team members, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
