Who you are
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, and extensive repairs on multiple panels, showcasing your ability to handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. You are also skilled in training and mentoring other autobody technicians, helping to elevate the team's overall performance and efficiency.
You are familiar with state-of-the-art tools and technologies used in modern automotive repair, ensuring that you can deliver high-quality results consistently. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence make you a valuable asset to any team. You understand the importance of safety and quality standards in the automotive industry, and you strive to uphold these principles in your work.
What you'll do
As a Light Auto Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various vehicles, including heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, and large area repairs. You will work on multiple panels, ensuring that each vehicle meets Carvana's high standards for quality and safety. Your role will also involve training and mentoring other technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
You will utilize state-of-the-art tools and equipment in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the efficient and effective repair process. Your work will directly impact the customer experience, as you help prepare low-mileage, late-model cars for sale. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and continuous improvement, and you will have opportunities for professional development through training programs and reimbursement initiatives.
