Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and extensive experience with Bondo repair. You are skilled in repairing roof and rocker panels and are familiar with large area, heavy bodywork. Your experience allows you to train and mentor other autobody technicians, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable using state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality make you an invaluable asset to the team. You understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving the best results for customers. What you'll do

As a Senior Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality. You will train and mentor other technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your responsibilities will include heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and Bondo repair, as well as roof and rocker panel repairs. You will work closely with your team to prepare low-mileage, late-model cars for customers, ensuring that each vehicle is in excellent condition before delivery.

You will also participate in ongoing training programs offered by Carvana, which will help you stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in the automotive industry.
