Overview
Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant to support their inspection center operations. You'll be responsible for detailing vehicles, moving them between departments, and inspecting for defects. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Job Description
Who you are
You are looking for an entry-level position in the automotive industry and are eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. You possess a valid driver's license and are able to operate vehicle equipment and tools safely. You are physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds independently and can work in varying weather conditions. You understand the importance of attention to detail, especially when it comes to inspecting vehicles for imperfections.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for detailing vehicles, which includes washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing to ensure they meet Carvana's high standards. As a Lot Attendant, you will move vehicles from one department to another within the inspection center, ensuring a smooth workflow. You may also take photos of vehicles as a Photobooth Associate, allowing customers to view the vehicles online. Additionally, as an Inspection Associate, you will inspect the interior and exterior of vehicles, accurately identifying any imperfections or defects that need to be addressed.
What we offer
Carvana offers a competitive starting pay of $17 per hour, with the potential to increase based on your level of experience. You will work a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 3 pm, with the possibility of mandatory overtime based on business needs.
